Aaron and Tiffany Anderson joined me on this episode of The Hacka Podcast, and I honestly believe this conversation is going to stay with a lot of people for a long time. Their story is inspiring, challenging, funny, emotional, and deeply convicting all at the same time.
Aaron and Tiffany are missionaries serving in São Paulo, Brazil — one of the largest cities in the world with more than 23 million people in its metropolitan area. But this episode wasn’t just about missions in another country. It was about obedience. It was about sacrifice. It was about saying “yes” to God before you know all the details.
They talked about growing up in ministry families, meeting at Indiana Bible College, and how missions became a shared calling in their marriage. I appreciated how honest they were about those early conversations. Aaron told Tiffany before they even started dating seriously that he didn’t believe he would spend his life in America. He felt called to missions. Thankfully, Tiffany already had a heart that was open to whatever God wanted.
One of the biggest themes throughout this conversation was that you cannot wait for perfect conditions before obeying God. Tiffany shared how many people have told them over the years that they once felt called to missions but never acted on it, and now live with regret. That was a powerful challenge. Faith always requires movement. At some point, you have to step.
Aaron also shared something that really stayed with me. He said God is usually not calling us to do something completely disconnected from how we are already living. If we want to be used by God in greater ways, we need to start being obedient where we are right now; teaching Bible studies, serving people, loving souls, praying, witnessing, and being faithful in the small things.
Of course, one of the most memorable parts of this episode was hearing the story of their triplets. While serving in Brazil with one young child already, they suddenly discovered they were expecting three more babies. Their honesty about the fear, stress, and emotional weight of that moment was refreshing and real. But the testimonies they shared about God’s provision were incredible and very funny.
One story especially stood out to me, a stranger in São Paulo prophetically telling them that God was going to give them a large family and provide them a home big enough for all their children… before they even knew they were having triplets. Hearing how God provided a larger home, strength, grace, and everything they needed was such a reminder that when God calls you, He sustains you.
We also talked about the incredible work happening in Brazil right now. Aaron shared that there are around 1,500 churches in the nation and thousands receiving the Holy Ghost every year, but at the same time, the need is still massive. São Paulo alone is one of the greatest mission fields in the world. Their team has planted churches, launched Bible school extensions, and helped develop leaders across the nation.
An amazing thing they shared was about the floating churches being built on the Amazon River. These floating churches travel to remote communities, establish works, and then move on to help start churches in other regions. It was such a powerful picture of creative missions and the determination to reach people no matter the obstacles.
What impacted me most, though, was the spirit behind everything they said. Aaron repeatedly came back to the importance of loving the work of God more than comfort. He talked about not wanting to become a “professional Christian” who loses sight of souls while staying busy with ministry structure and meetings.

How to Partner in Missions
Tiffyan and Aaron shared how you are able to partner with them in Brazil
If you would like to partner with them, you can do that here.
When you give to missions, you’re not just supporting a family, you’re connecting yourself to revival.

Final Thought
This conversation reminded me that the call of God is still worth saying “yes” to, even when it’s uncomfortable, uncertain, or costly.
Aaron and Tiffany’s story is a powerful reminder that God still uses ordinary people who are willing to trust Him completely. The harvest is still great, and God is still looking for people willing to obey.
